King City Township-Wide Recreation Centre

King City, Ontario

The new $86-million, 124,000-square-foot King City Township-Wide Recreation Centre, now renamed “Zancor Centre”, stands as a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the community’s growing recreational needs. In a strategic move, the city shut down older recreational facilities to prioritize this modern sports complex.

The fieldhouse features a PolyTurf Plus Pad and Pour surface, incorporating a three-lane walking track and a multi-sport court. Green was carefully selected for the court flooring to complement the adjacent turf, creating a visually appealing finish.

This facility reflects a significant investment in enhancing the quality of life for residents, offering a versatile and inviting space for sports, fitness, and community activities.
