From the design phase, the Tarkett Omnisports product line was specified as the sports flooring solution, and Advantage Sport was selected to perform installation across multiple areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The project included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6,380 sq. ft. gymnasium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2,950 sq. ft. indoor walking track<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2,050 sq. ft. fitness studio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2, 200 sq. ft. fitness conditioning gym<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each space had distinct functional requirements while maintaining overall aesthetic consistency throughout the expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenge and objectives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Advantage Sport was required to install different Omnisports systems tailored to varied usage environments within the same complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Primary objectives included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a high-performance and cost-effective solution for the gymnasium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design a visually distinctive and functional walking track<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve comfort and safety in the fitness studio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a surface perfectly suited for physical conditioning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain aesthetic continuity across the expansion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure durability suitable for intensive municipal use<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The challenge was to balance technical performance, budget optimization, and visual cohesion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical Solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gymnasium: <\/strong>&nbsp;The gymnasium was equipped with an Omnisports MultiFlex system installed using the GreenLay method. MultiFlex was selected for its ability to meet the multi-sport needs of the complex while generating cost savings for the owner. The GreenLay method ensures stability, durability, and installation efficiency in high-traffic municipal environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walking Track:<\/strong> The indoor walking track was completed using Omnisports Active+. A custom seam and color design was developed to maximize visual impact and lane clarity. Two tones of blue, Night Blue and Sky Blue, clearly define the lanes, while grey corner sections serve as designated stretching areas. This design improves user orientation and visually structures the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fitness Studio: <\/strong>&nbsp;The fitness studio was originally specified with ceramic tile. Advantage Sport recommended installing Omnisports Active+ to provide shock absorption and improved joint comfort. This decision also maintained a consistent wood-look aesthetic throughout the new addition, reinforcing architectural continuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Physical Conditioning:<\/strong> The physical conditioning room is equipped with MaxFlor+ rubber flooring.
