18 gymnasiums in 6 schools

Saskatchewan, Canada

Project context

Advantage Sport has demonstrated its ability to manage large-scale projects by completing the installation of 18 gymnasiums across six schools in Saskatchewan, covering a total area of 85,000 square feet.

The facilities are located in the following municipalities and areas:

  • Martensville, Saskatchewan
  • Warman, Saskatchewan
  • Saskatoon (Hampton Village), Saskatchewan
  • Saskatoon (Evergreen), Saskatchewan
  • Saskatoon (Stonebridge), Saskatchewan
  • Saskatoon (Rosewood), Saskatchewan

The mandate was to supply and install an Omnisports 8.3 Golden Maple system, using the GreenLay method, within a timeline of less than three months.

Prior to commencement, the client conducted a comprehensive tour of our facilities to verify our operational capacity to deliver a project of this scale.

Challenge and objectives

The project presented several major challenges:

  • Simultaneous coordination of 18 sites
  • Strict adherence to a tight schedule
  • Technical evaluation of existing concrete slabs
  • Large-scale logistics management
  • Delivery with zero deficiencies

The objective was to ensure consistent, high-performance installation across all sites while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Technical solution

Advantage Sport supplied and installed 85,000 square feet of Omnisports 8.3 mm Golden Maple using the GreenLay installation method. Before installation began, a technical team visited each site to inspect and evaluate the condition of the concrete slabs.

This assessment allowed for proper planning of necessary preparation work to ensure optimal substrate readiness.

From a logistics standpoint:

  • More than 160 rolls were delivered
  • Approximately 260 floor sockets were integrated
  • Over 9 miles of game lines were painted

The GreenLay method improved installation efficiency while maintaining long-term stability and durability across all gymnasiums.

Results and benefits

The project was completed on schedule and delivered without any deficiencies.

The benefits include :

  • Centralized management of a multisite project
  • Consistent performance across 18 gymnasiums
  • Strict adherence to project timelines
  • Province-wide logistics coordination
  • Full client satisfaction

This achievement confirms Advantage Sport’s ability to execute large-scale institutional projects anywhere in Canada.
