At Advantage Sport, “going green” isn’t just a fad; it’s firmly established in our business philosophy. As such, we are proud to offer top-quality, ecologically-responsible products and installation methods designed to provide superior flooring solutions with minimal environmental impact while also providing healthier indoor air quality in every facility.
We are firmly committed to upholding sustainable development practices throughout our operations. Waste reduction through recycling (packaging, boxes, pallets, wrapping, paper, cardboard, bottles and cans, etc.) is a particular priority.
We utilize eco-responsible installation methods such as GreenLay™, a unique installation method exclusive to Omnisports Active+ and Omnisports PurePlay flooring. This revolutionary installation method is the new standard in environmentally-responsible flooring because it uses significantly less adhesive compared to traditional installation methods. As such, there is no contamination of the concrete or the actual product, meaning that Omnisports flooring is easier to remove and can be recycled at the end of its lifespan.
We utilize VOC-compliant floor finishes and Gymline paint for our gymnasiums. As such, no special products or harsh chemicals are required to maintain the flooring – only small amounts of water and gentle soap. What’s more, stripping agents are also unnecessary as wax is not used on our products.
We are proud to offer a wide range of eco-responsible products. In fact, the majority of our products are made of recycled rubber and most require NO adhesive to install.
Award-winning of Green Good Design™, LinoSport is a naturally resilient sports flooring product manufactured in a Cradle to Cradle® Silver certified process. To achieve this status, a product must provide favourable health and re-utilization of materials, renewable energy use, water stewardship in manufacturing, as well as social responsibility.
Made from over 20% recycled material, the Omnisports product line is 100% recyclable and promotes reduced water, detergent and chemical use with its maintenance-friendly texture. It is Floor Score certified, meaning that it meets the indoor air quality emissions criteria of LEED and is recognized by a long list of “healthy” building programs. Omnisports flooring is also certified as Asthma & Allergy Friendly for its exceptionally low capacity to retain allergens. As such, allergens that do accumulate on the floor surface can be easily removed by the recommended cleaning technique and will not expose the operator to airborne allergens.
