Collège Boisbriand

Project context

Founded in 2016, Collège Boisbriand is a private school located north of Montreal that experienced rapid growth in its early years, driven by the strength of its athletic program. This expansion led to a major development project aimed at tripling the school’s capacity, including the construction of a new gymnasium.

Located near Avantage Sport’s headquarters, the project represented a great opportunity to contribute to local development. The new gymnasium had to offer a versatile space capable of meeting the college’s sports and school activities.

Challenge and objectives

Advantage Sport has been tasked to provide and install a personalized sports surface, aligned with industry standards and adapted to the needs of a rapidly growing school environment.

Primary objectives

• Create a distinctive visual identity with the College logos
• Ensure durability, resistance, and simplified maintenance
• Meet industry standards for intensive school use

The challenge was to present a technically and aesthetically strong solution in a competitive context while meeting the College’s expectations.

Technical solution

Advantage Sport supplied and installed the Omnisports MultiFlex sports flooring across approximately 14,000 square feet. The installation was carried out according to the GreenLay method, recognized for its durability and its tolerance to humidity conditions.

The Pure Maple and Sapphire colour combination created a modern and dynamic environment. The integration of their two logos further reinforced the gymnasium’s distinctive visual identity.

Omnisports MultiFlex was selected for its versatility and ability to support multisport and multifunctional use. The system provides Class 2 shock absorption, enhanced athlete comfort, strong wear resistance, and simplified maintenance. Its 25-year warranty was also a significant factor in the product’s selection.
